QCOSS and PeakCare have been working together to host and support a Child and Family Sector Policy and Advocacy Network. The aim of the Network is to progress collaborative policy and advocacy on child and family matters in Queensland.  

Purpose: A reference group to support the design and development of the Moranbah Youth and Community Hub facility and to lead the establishment of the longer term governance arrangements for end users of the facility.   Aim: To create opportunities to form community partnerships and share resources so that together they can build their capacity to provide quality and sustainable services and support by:
  • Improving coordination and collaboration between agencies to provide more holistic and seamless services delivery in Moranbah.

As we discussed, this Network Space has been created to give everyone access to the content presented in the workshop as well as the work generated by each group during the session. It also provides a means to discuss issues related to the LLA generally, or to the work of the specific working parties.
