Ask questions and seek information around using QCOSS's Unit Costing Tool and share experiences negotiating Output-Based Service Agreements
The Queensland Department of Communities is currently transitioning organisations to output-based service agreements as their current agreements expire.
The Sector Development team at QCOSS is currently working with the costing methodology developed and kindly shared by the Endeavour Foundation, to create an easy to use Unit Costing Tool to support organisations to understand and confidently negotiate their outputs.
This tool will allow organisations to determine what level of outputs they are able to deliver within existing resources, as well as the proportion of service outputs that are self-funded.
The tool is currently being piloted and will be available to the sector by late August, early September 2011.
Information will be posted here as it arises, but for now we recommend checking out the Department's Output Funding and Reporting Website.
